The BR402 battery which can be used in the DS4000 and DS3300, was discontinued in October 2006. The replacement is the BR403. When replacing a BR402 with a BR403, the user may need to upgrade the cradle.

BR403, the user may need to upgrade the cradle.
Check your cradle. If it is a CR3 A , they are all
set. If you have a CR3, the cradle needs to go to Olympus for replacement.
There is no charge for the replacement.
**NO Olympus will not give them a free battery.
We ask you to return those CR-3 cradle to the following attention:

Once we receive those CR-3 old cradle from you, we will send you back the
new CR-3A cradle to you.
